Ferrite magnets, often known as ceramic magnets, are permanent magnets and the most affordable hard magnets available today! Ferrite Disc magnets are ceramic ferrite magnets that are spherical coin-shaped and vary in diameter and thickness. Almost always, they are made as axially magnetized ceramic ferrite magnets. As a low-cost magnetic material, they may be found in a variety of magnetic therapeutic applications, on the reverse of refrigerator magnets, and in school science projects. Ceramic Round Magnets may be piled on top of one another to make taller magnets with greater potential performance. As the height of the ferrite discs grows, so will the performance until the extra height begins to provide less advantage per magnet addition. As the height grows, the performance eventually plateaus, at which time a bigger diameter disc magnet may be required if greater performance is desired. Ferrite disc magnets can be glued in place or placed into circular drilled holes in wood or plastic. Once the bonding surface has been cleansed and cured of the thin coating of magnetic powder often present on Ferrite ceramic magnets, an epoxy glue is advised for Ferrites for constructing goods or handcrafts.
